How Fiction Will Remember October 7 - with Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff

Fauda's October 7th episodes, built almost entirely from real documented incidents, became a surprise hit across Arab Netflix markets despite anticipated boycotts.

• Season 5 goes meta: Two episodes (7 and 8) dramatize the morning of October 7th itself, written using Fauda's established characters like Doron and Eli to make the trauma legible to longtime viewers.
• Global reach despite the subject: Season 5 hit Netflix's top 10 in 192 countries, reached #1 in Lebanon, and charted in Jordan, UAE, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.

Themes, sentiment and reasons are AI-written paraphrases, checked so they never quote an episode. They may contain errors. Not investment advice. Episodes remain the property of their creators.
