Neil Young

Neil Young's Second Song, written and recorded within weeks in 2025, merges brand-new material with two songs he wrote 60 years ago.

• New album origins: Neil Young says Second Song came fast in January-February 2025 in Colorado 'toward the full moon,' then he recorded four songs in one day at Shangri-La on March 1st.
• 60-year-old songs revived: The album mixes new material with two songs Young wrote in 1963-65 ('Casting Me Away From You,' 'I'll Love You Forever'), recorded in a friend's attic and a radio station in Fort William, Ontario decades ago.
